Science is Fun

The Nature of Science is our term 2 topic. We are going to be learning how to think like a scientist.

This is a snapshot of our first science experiment.

Watching the lava bubble and fizz prompted a question - Why do things fizz?

Over the next couple of weeks Room One will be working to answer that question. To help us answer the question we will be thinking like scientists and using the following scientific method.

1.  Asking a question
2.  Doing background research (finding out what we already know about fizzing).
3. Constructing a hypothesis ( making an informed guess).
4. Testing our hypothesis by doing an experiment.
5. Analysing the data - recording what we see and coming to a conclusion.
6. Sharing our results
